Our Vision

CECOFA’s vision is to alleviate poverty in Central Uganda through market-based sustainable agriculture practices. We aim to empower our members by providing them with the tools and knowledge needed to enhance their productivity and improve their quality of life.

WHAT WE DO

Our farmers cultivate natural Robusta coffee near the shores of Lake Victoria, ensuring high-quality production by harvesting red ripe cherries and processing them meticulously. The coffee is then hulled, graded at our factory, and exported worldwide.

WHO WE ARE

Central Coffee Farmers Association (CECOFA) is a farmer-owned organization based in Bulwanyi-Maya, Wakiso District, Uganda, near Lake Victoria along the equator line. Established to support coffee farmers in Central Uganda, CECOFA currently has a membership of 13500 farmers, including 1,800 women and 900 youths. Our association brings together farmers from Wakiso, Masaka, Luwero, and Bukuya districts to improve farming practices, access international markets, and receive technical training and support.
